Kelsie heard about the job from her friend Daniel, who knew she was unhappy working in used car sales and called asking, “Do you want to make 750 cold calls a week instead?” Her favorite part about the role is seeing the light bulb go off when training new recruiters or hearing “aha” moments from Financial Advisors. “I never thought I’d want to be in a leadership position, but I was mistaken. I love being a trusted resource to my team. I am not the same person who started at Encore in 2018. When I got here, I saw nothing but successful people living happy and healthy lives, and I wanted that. I wanted to be more like my colleagues, so I took the steps necessary to become a better version of myself and never looked back. The culture here is unmatched. They truly care about your well-being. I spend 40+ hours a week with these people, and they are all incredible people who come from diverse backgrounds, which fosters an environment of diversity and inclusion. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, 4 dogs, and 2 cats. Our family is from Florida, so we enjoy a lot of time in Tallahassee, specifically the off-road trails in the Apalachicola National Forest in our Polaris RZR.”
